Can I clean my PC registry on my own?

Of course you can clean your PC registry on your own. You can basically buy a book on PC registry or computer registry cleaner that will give you all the latest and greatest information about any windows PC registry. But I assume that you are mostly interested in cleaning your registry and all you are really looking for is a computer registry cleaner that can do a well enough job so that you can go back to doing what you doing  before you were interrupted by annoying crashes and errors and slowed down computer.

Let's grab the bulls by the horns and do something that is proven to work! Get a good registry repair software and clean the problem right out of your PC. You don't really need to know that REGEDIT.EXE was directly ported from Windows 95, and did not support permission editing (permissions do not exist on Windows 9x).
What good is it to to know that to access the full functionality of an NT registry it was through REGEDT32.EXE. For most people, as long as  the registry repair software is doing its job, the rest if gravy.
